PROJECT ENGINEER
Houston
Our client, a major Houston based food processor is accepting applications
for a PROJECT ENGINEER.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage multiple capital projects of varying sizes
simultaneously.
Develop feasibility studies, conceptual designs, scope, preliminary and
final engineering designs.
Prepare equipment performance specifications, identify and document system
operations, assist in start-up activities.
Interface with operating customers; provide support in equipment
development/new technology.
Support development and coordination of maintenance technical training and
practices.
Design, implement, and support process control and information systems
technology.
Apply technical background to troubleshoot and provide support to
maintenance technicians and production managers.
Requirements:
B.S. Mechanical Engineering 5-years project management engineering
experience with a minimum of 3 projects in excess of $10 million.
(preferably in packaging)
Proven knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply
the principles, tools and techniques.
Good interpersonal and communication skills required, both verbal and
written.
Fundamental background with PLC process control.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Associate
in Project Management (CAPM)
