Field Engineer /Party Chief
Qualified applicant will have a minimum of five years experience in Marine
Construction / Heavy Civil Construction with a 4 year Civil Engineering
Degree or Construction Management Degreea a plus but not a requirement.
Experience in Marine Construction with Pile Driving a must.
Requirements
Duties will include:
• Review of Construction Drawings
• Calculate coordinates for Pile Driving Operations
• Supervise a minimum of two survey crews
• Coordinate survey crew activities to meet construction needs
• Establish survey procedures to meet construction requirements
Strong working knowledge of the following software packages is a must:
• Trimble GPS Related Packages
• Windows Word
• Excel
• Primavera P3
• MicroSoft Projects
• AutoCad Version 2004 or Higher
Hands-On Experience with:
• Cylinder and Pipe Pile Driving Operations in a Marine Environment
• Installation of Precast Components
• Layout requirements for CIP embedded items (anchor bolts, etc.)
• Monitoring and control of Rip-Rap Placement above and below the water
• Conventional survey methods with Total Station Equipment
• GPS survey methods
