Valmont-Newmark is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative at our Concrete Pole manufacturing facility in Bellville, TX. Valmont-Newmark is the nation’s largest supplier of concrete utility structures for transmission and distribution of electric power.
The Inside Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for preparing quotations and estimates for projects in response to customer inquiries, under the direction of the Sales Manager in addition to tracking quotations and orders internally, coordinating with engineering and manufacturing staff, and handling change orders as they occur.
The prospective candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to develop and maintain good relationships with customers. Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are essential. Experience in inside sales is strongly desired as is familiarity with the electric utility industry. A candidate with a college degree is preferred, but candidates with experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
